Candlelight yoga is aimed to relax and challenge you at the same time. Wind down after your weekend and charge up for the week ahead with this yoga class. Find balance in your busy life by adding some yin to your yoga practice.
This type of yoga (yin yoga) is quite distinct; it’s a gentle form of yoga where we stay in postures for 3 to 7 minutes. Most poses are sitting or lying postures, done with relaxed muscles. Yin is simple, but often challenging.
Using our breath to keep focused on the present and keeping our body and mind still, we discover new depths and opportunities. Learn to listen to your body, accept its request and learn to yield.

About the Teacher
I first did yoga when I was twelve, but it wasn’t until I started working full-time in an office that I felt the need to do yoga on a more regular basis. I wanted to contradict the effects of sitting hunched over behind a computer all the time and decide to take up yoga again. I trained with the Yoga Academy and am qualified as a 200 hour registered yoga teacher, specialising in hatha and yin yoga. My training had a strong anatomical focus, which led to the emphasis on safety and alignment in my classes. I am passionate about sharing my love for yoga and helping other people discover the joy, wonders and liberation that yoga can bring.
